We are seeking a full time detail-oriented and highly analytical Civil Construction Estimator to join our team located in Montrose, PA. This role is responsible for reviewing project documents, performing quantity take-offs from prints, and compiling relevant data to support senior management in preparing competitive proposals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil construction practices, cost estimation, and bid preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand scope and requirements.

· Perform accurate quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering blueprints.

· Analyze material, labor, and equipment costs to generate detailed cost estimates.

· Research and compile pricing for subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.

· Identify potential risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering options.

· Assist in preparing comprehensive bid proposals for senior management review.

· Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to refine estimates.

· Maintain and update estimating databases, ensuring accuracy in cost analysis.

· Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in civil construction estimation.

Position Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).

· Proven experience in civil construction estimating or a similar role.

· Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents.

· Familiarity with construction estimation software (such as Bluebeam, AutoCAD, ProEst, or similar).

· Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.

· Strong communication and organizational skills.

· Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
